About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned procurement professional to lead our Nordic Cluster Procurement function. As the Head of Procurement, you will be responsible for the purchasing function for Sweden, Denmark, Finland, and Norway, overseeing a team of 4 people.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the team by setting goals and continuously monitoring performance.
  • Drive the overall target of standardization of sourced goods and services of the indirect supplier portfolio.
  • Supplier Relationship Management (build and maintain strategic relationships with key suppliers including contract negotiation and performance monitoring).
  • Ensure we have an appropriate Demand Planning structure.
  • Risk Management within Supply.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, we believe you have substantial experience in a similar position including strategic sourcing, Procurement, or supply chain management. We think you have a minimum of 3 years of leadership experience, ideally in a matrix set-up.

Your leadership is imbued with the desire to see people grow and you have a passion for both people and business. You have a university degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field.

Other competencies and skills needed:

  • Strong knowledge of Procurement processes, best practices, and market trends.
  • Excellent negotiation, contract management, and supplier relationship management skills.
  • Extensive expertise in indirect Procurement and Procurement methodology including processes, systems, and toolboxes.
  • Experienced in utilizing Procurement tools such as SAP Ariba, proficient in data analysis methods including Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), and a strong willingness to embrace new technologies.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to utilize data and insights for decision-making and continuous improvement.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at various levels.
  • Fluent in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Knowledge in any of our Nordic languages is a bonus.
