We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Project Manager to join our team at Volvo Group, a leading manufacturer of trucks, buses, engines, and construction equipment. As a key member of our Construction and Infrastructure team, you will play a vital role in the development of our new battery cell production plant in Mariestad, Sweden.

About the Role

As a Construction Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading large-scale industrial construction projects, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of high-quality results. You will work closely with our procurement team, other project stakeholders, and external partners to drive the project forward and achieve our sustainability goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead construction projects from planning to execution, ensuring compliance with time, budget, and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Manage relationships with external partners, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including the Head of Construction and Infrastructure.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, regulations, and industry standards.
Requirements
  • Relevant BSc or MSc degree in construction, engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in large-scale industrial construction projects, with a strong track record of successful partnerships.
  • Strong business acumen, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in written and oral English, with Swedish language skills an asset.
  • A positive, proactive, and curious mindset, with a genuine interest in sustainable development and greenfield industrial projects.
