Legal Counsel to Zaver: Accelerate Your Career in Fintech

Zaver is a fast-growing fintech company based in Stockholm, Sweden. We're seeking a highly skilled Legal Counsel to join our team and support our business in a broad range of legal matters.
Key Responsibilities- Review and Draft Legal Documents: Review new products and draft product terms, especially for payment services, to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Commercial Contract Management: Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts to protect the company's interests.
- Regulatory Compliance: Help us stay up-to-date with regulatory updates, update our steering documents, and implement control systems and procedures to manage and minimize legal/regulatory risks.
- Legal Guidance and Advice: Provide guidance and advice to the organization on matters such as data privacy, consumer credit law, AML, and corporate law.
- Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Help the organization assess legal/regulatory risks and implement control systems and procedures to manage and minimize them.
- A law/business law degree from a university.
- Excellent communication skills, fluent in Swedish and English.
- At least three years of relevant experience, preferably from a business law firm, a financial supervisory authority, or an in-house role at a financial or tech company.
- A solid interest in new technologies within the payment industry.
- An ability to work in a team, take ownership, and get things done.
