About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and senior aviation legal counsel to join the zeroG Group Legal Office in Aviation Hub to support on a broad range of aviation and data protection legal and operational matters. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and evolving field and contribute to maintaining our organization's commitment to aviation and data protection.

As a senior aviation legal counsel, you will be an essential member of our growing team and will work closely with business stakeholders throughout the Group to support in a wide range of aviation and data protection related matters. You will use your strong interpersonal skills and your ability to combine legal knowledge with business acumen to advise our teams and create pragmatic actionable solutions to complex legal issues.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Offer legal support and guidance on aviation and data protection issues,
  • Support in strategic initiatives involving and/or relating to aviation and data protection issues
  • Provide tailored advice to internal stakeholders on aviation and data protection legal and contractual risks and risk mitigation;
  • Assist with designing, building and improving internal aviation and data protection operations and processes and tools,
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess and manage aviation and data protection risks effectively,
  • Collaborate with and manage external counsel as necessary
  • Conduct aviation and data protection workshops and training for employees
  • Collaborate and align with other legal functions within the zeroG Group.
Who are you?
  • You have a Swedish LL.M. degree, or equivalent European qualification, followed by at least five years of experience from working as in-house legal counsel or at a reputable law firm with substantial experience of working with aviation and data protection.
  • You have professional experience demonstrating comprehensive aviation and data protection knowledge, perspective and understanding to ensure compliance and data protection successfully. Operational knowledge of IT security and cyber security is a merit.
  • You have excellent communication skills in English, verbally and in writing.
  • You have a strong commercial understanding and pro-actively take initiatives to contribute with your expertise to impact the business.
  • You have a high level of integrity and are confident in your competence and the value you bring, but you also possess a curiosity to learn and take on new challenges in this dynamic role.
  • You have an ability to work independently or as part of a team to find legally viable solutions to various situations.
  • You can quickly analyse complex information and communicate the same in a simplified way with clear advice to support enhanced decision-making.
  • You are flexible and adapt positively to change.
  • You are a positive and engaged team player who is not afraid to deliver and dig in where necessary. We expect you to be driven and a person able to prioritize.
