About the Worldwide Specialist Organization (WWSO)
The WWSO is an integral part of AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS), dedicated to driving revenue, adoption, and growth from small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level clients, including public sector entities.

Our approach is to reverse-engineer solutions from our customers' most intricate and critical business challenges, crafting and executing go-to-market strategies that transform AWS concepts into multi-billion-dollar enterprises.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement the go-to-market strategy and execution for Container solutions across EMEA North, collaborating with various teams including Sales, Partners, Marketing, and other Specialists.
  • Utilize your extensive knowledge of Containers to identify and address the most pressing customer challenges in your region, empowering account-aligned teams to deliver effective solutions.
  • Lead cross-functional projects aimed at expanding market presence, creating scalable programs to enhance adoption, and uncovering new opportunities within your area of expertise.
  • Establish and pursue objectives to drive sustainable growth in your region, while achieving or surpassing revenue and non-revenue KPIs.
  • Gather customer insights and market feedback to relay to Worldwide teams, ensuring the development of relevant features and services for our clientele.
  • Prepare and present monthly and quarterly business reviews and operational plans for your specific technology domain and region.
  • Enhance geographical reach through partnerships; collaborate with cross-functional teams across Solution Architecture, Business Development, Marketing, Partners, and Training to execute customer acquisition strategies.

About the Team:
This role is part of the Go-To-Market (GTM) Specialist team within WWSO, where you will spearhead GTM strategies for AWS' Container services in EMEA North. We develop sales initiatives, leverage partnerships, and create new programs that yield significant results for our customers. We also provide essential feedback from clients to shape our product roadmap and collaborate closely with our partner network to build an ecosystem that supports our customers' objectives.
