Senior Business Development Specialist

About the RoleWe're seeking a talented Sales Executive to join our team. As a Sales Executive, you'll develop long-lasting relationships with key stakeholders, inside and out. You'll be responsible for establishing and building strong bonds that will be the envy of our competitors.
Your Key Responsibilities- Develop a deep understanding of market, industry, and role knowledge to enable peer-to-peer conversations and understand customer needs and requirements;
- Cover the entire sales cycle from market research and business development through to closing deals, ensuring a thorough understanding of all aspects of the selling process;
- Set up and attend meetings with identified accounts;
- Take ownership of a personal set of accounts to manage existing relationships;
- Help create and maintain territory and account plans;
- Maintain accurate records of all call activity in Salesforce.com and report call information, sales leads, and customer profiles correctly and accurately in a timely manner;
- Build rapport and relationships with internal and external customers through prompt, courteous, efficient, and professional service;
- Support the senior Sales Team in growing territory revenue and market share;
- Participate in on-boarding training and continuous learning opportunities;
- Participate and co-host in client events;
- Gain hands-on experience with the Datasite suite of services;
- Learn all Datasite policies, procedures, and best practices.
Building relationships is crucial for success. We want our Sales team to be continually learning and proactively building relationships with new or existing clients. You will smartly network into our clients, build a deep knowledge of their structure, and communicate the capabilities of Datasite and our products effectively.
Drive RevenueSuccessful Sellers will identify sales opportunities, understand markets, and collaborate with our Sales and management team to maximize revenue. You will anticipate client needs and deliver solutions to exceed expectations. Your role will involve developing new business, meeting clients, compiling quotes, closing sales, creating Statements of Work, and invoice management.
Continuous DevelopmentWe provide Sellers with best-in-class training (Sellers University) covering product, target markets, and sales strategy. You will learn by working closely with our current high performers and impart your knowledge to new joiners as you develop and progress.
