Job Description:

The External Affairs Manager (EAM) is responsible for driving regional access strategies and implementing tactics for priority brands. This role requires engagement with regional healthcare decision-makers, payers, and policymakers to overcome patient access barriers and optimize pricing opportunities.

Key Accountabilities:
  1. Developing Regional Strategies: Develop and execute regional strategies and tactics to optimize patient access to priority brands.
  2. Building Stakeholder Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with key regional stakeholders to influence decision-making and policy shaping.
  3. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams to align regional activities with national access strategies.
  4. Funding Process Optimization: Drive and execute the regional funding processes to maximize market opportunities for priority brands.
  5. Effective Communication: Lead regional communication strategies to ensure consistent messaging to stakeholders responsible for healthcare budget allocation and patient access.
  6. Business Acumen: Provide actionable insights from regional access work to inform the strategic direction of products.
  7. Access Challenge Resolution: Analyze and address regional access challenges to ensure optimized patient access.
