The Role

We are seeking an Assistant Store Manager to join our team at the Calvin Klein Kungsbacka Outlet. As an Assistant Store Manager, you will be responsible for leading the store team to generate sales, profit, and minimize losses. You will also be responsible for maintaining corporate visual merchandising directives and standards for sales floor and back room.

Responsibilities

  1. Lead the store team to generate sales, profit, and minimize losses.
  2. Maintain corporate visual merchandising directives and standards for sales floor and back room.
  3. Work alongside the visual merchandising team to ensure clear communication and understanding between VM and store teams.
  4. Partner with store management team to build on business opportunities and achieve company standards and objectives.
  5. Focus staff on the importance of quality relationships with internal and external customers.
  6. Complete daily/weekly store walkthroughs; evaluate product performance, pricing, staff service levels, and inventory levels.
  7. Communicate to the Store Manager what is driving sales and discuss any issues/priorities, in order to develop strategies to maximize business.
  8. Analyze store level reports and create action plans to improve results.
  9. Assist with the manpower planning, identification, recruitment, interviewing, and hiring processes.
  10. Work with the Store Manager to build bench strength for key positions, including possible successors.
  11. Participate in weekly management meetings alongside other staff meetings.
  12. Clearly communicate to staff: store and individual sales goals and other key performance expectations; sales results and provide guidance on what is needed to improve performance.

Requirements

  1. Previous track record of supervisory or specialist roles within a premium or luxury brand.
  2. Effective communicator with the ability to cultivate belonging.
  3. Collaborative and courageous in giving feedback that promotes positive behavioral change.
  4. Adaptable and able to work with pace.
  5. Energetic and inspiring, with a clear presence on the shop floor.
  6. Approach all issues with a 'can do' approach and make informed decisions to find in-store solutions.
