Strategic Sourcing Category Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Sourcing Category Manager to join our global procurement department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing sourcing categories, including strategic sourcing projects for indirect spend.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement category and sourcing strategies for indirect spend, ensuring alignment with business stakeholders and driving savings.
- Lead end-to-end strategic sourcing projects, including RFx processes, supplier selection, contract negotiations, and documentation management.
- Conduct research, analyze trends, and develop commercial models to optimize category performance.
- Collaborate with departments on supplier management, driving price reduction, vendor consolidation, and process improvements.
- Ensure supplier selection aligns with category strategies and manage supplier performance for continuous improvement.
- Promote procurement best practices and compliance, raising stakeholder awareness and reducing maverick spending.
- Provide training and regular communication on procurement processes, systems, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
- A master's degree in finance, economics, engineering, or law.
- Proven experience in procurement and sourcing projects.
- Strong data analysis skills, with the ability to present insights professionally and translate strategic changes into actionable processes.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and presentation skills, with fluency in English.
- A self-motivated and structured approach, with experience collaborating across teams and functions to achieve business goals.
