Job Description

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Sourcing Category Manager to join our team at Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken AB. As a key member of our global procurement department, you will be responsible for managing sourcing categories and driving category and sourcing strategies to achieve enterprise-wide goals.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and implement category and sourcing strategies for indirect spend, ensuring alignment with business stakeholders and driving savings.
  2. Lead end-to-end strategic sourcing projects, including RFx processes, supplier selection, contract negotiations, and documentation management.
  3. Conduct research, analyze trends, and develop commercial models to optimize category performance.
  4. Collaborate with departments on supplier management, driving price reduction, vendor consolidation, and process improvements.
  5. Ensure supplier selection aligns with category strategies and manage supplier performance for continuous improvement.
  6. Promote procurement best practices and compliance, raising stakeholder awareness and reducing maverick spending.
  7. Provide training and regular communication on procurement processes, systems, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  1. A master's degree in finance, economics, engineering, or law.
  2. Proven experience in procurement and sourcing projects.
  3. Strong data analysis skills, with the ability to present insights professionally and translate strategic changes into actionable processes.
  4. Excellent communication, relationship-building, and presentation skills, with fluency in English.
  5. A self-motivated and structured approach, with experience collaborating across teams and functions to achieve business goals.
