Role of the Energy Projects Manager

In this role, you will own the end-to-end power scaling strategy for a number of countries within the EMEA footprint. You will analyze, develop and implement strategies on how to interconnect data centers and scale business across power grids.

Your responsibilities will include prospecting for, originating and contracting the power capacity needed to support delivery of data centers. You will also identify risks in delivery and operation of power grids and identify appropriate mitigations in collaboration with partner teams.

Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and execute a comprehensive power growth strategy for AWS's EMEA data centers for new and existing regions.
  2. Cultivate business and technical relationships with stakeholders, including grid and electricity utilities, regulators and policymakers.
  3. Ensure access to secure, resilient and scalable power is maintained across 2-3 countries.
