About the Compliance Division
The Compliance Function at Trustly Group AB serves as a critical second line of defense, working alongside the Risk Function and the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO). The Compliance team is composed of several Compliance Officers, led by the Chief Compliance Officer, ensuring a robust compliance framework.

Position Overview
We are seeking a Compliance Officer to enhance our Compliance team within Trustly Group AB. This role will report directly to the Chief Compliance Officer and will be based in our Stockholm office. The Compliance Officer will engage in various compliance-related activities, including providing guidance and support, conducting controls, and facilitating training sessions, while also addressing a range of other tasks to ensure the effective execution of the annual compliance plan.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement the annual compliance plan, which encompasses control activities, risk assessments, and training initiatives.
  • Assist in the development and execution of the compliance management framework, including the drafting and updating of internal policies and governing documents.
  • Provide advice and support to internal stakeholders on compliance-related issues.
  • Conduct regulatory horizon scanning to stay informed of changes in the regulatory landscape.
  • Prepare reports for the board of directors.
  • Monitor and disseminate knowledge regarding regulatory intelligence.

Candidate Profile
  • A degree in law or a related field, complemented by relevant experience in a regulatory or supervisory financial environment, or in a consultancy role focused on compliance or risk management.
  • Experience in risk management and control activities is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with PSD2 or AML/CFT regulations is a plus.
  • A collaborative team player with excellent communication skills, capable of engaging with diverse internal and external stakeholders proactively.
  • A proactive approach with a strong sense of ownership over assigned tasks.
  • Fluency in English is essential, with most communications conducted in English and Swedish.
