Strategic Account Development Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Account Development Manager to join our Strategic Account Services (SAS) team at Amazon. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and program satisfaction for our selling partners.
About the RoleIn this role, you will work closely with our selling partners to develop strategic plans that meet their individual targets. You will use your analytical skills to identify opportunities for growth and provide actionable insights to inform decision-making.
You will also be responsible for recruiting and onboarding new selling partners to the program, as well as managing a portfolio of 10-12 selling partners. This will involve developing strong relationships with each partner, providing guidance and support, and ensuring timely execution of strategic plans.
Key Responsibilities- Seller Management: Develop and implement individualized strategies for each selling partner, managing timelines, expectations, and communications.
- Business Analysis: Use a wide set of analytical tools to interpret customer data and produce profound business recommendations and actionable insights.
- Consultancy: Leverage Amazon knowledge to consult with selling partners on opportunities derived and potential business impact.
- Execution and Operational Troubleshooting: Provide guidance on the execution of strategic plans, answer ad-hoc questions, and help overcome operational challenges.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Excellent English communication skills and fluency in at least one additional language.
- Work experience in top-tier level consulting, key account management, advertising sales, B2B, digital retail/e-commerce, business development, digital marketing, brand management, supply chain management or similar.
- Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Economics or a similar program from a top-tier university.
- Strong analytical skills allowing interpretation of complex data sets using Microsoft Excel.
- Well-founded knowledge in strategy development and execution.
- Proven ability to successfully attract, manage, and interact with clients independently, particularly at the executive level.
- Ability to multi-task and adjust priorities in a fast-paced environment.
