Global Security Lead

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Operations Manager to join our team at TUI. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for conducting country security risk assessments, owning the destination level risk matrix, and working closely with our business units to monitor and evaluate security-related data.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough country security risk assessments to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities
- Develop and maintain the destination level risk matrix to ensure accurate and up-to-date information
- Collaborate with our business units to monitor and evaluate security-related data from government agencies and publicly issued travel advice
- Monitor global security-related events and analyze security threats and incidents to inform our risk management strategies
- Develop and implement effective security management systems to mitigate risks and ensure the safety of our customers and employees
- Provide training and support to our colleagues on security-related matters
- Act as the Group security SPOC for TUI MM 3rd party relationships, including security crisis situations and 3rd party clients
- Refine our regional geopolitical risk perspective and provide analysis of global security incidents to inform our business decisions
- Maintain awareness of geopolitical and risk trends affecting the tourism sector
- Communicate strategic analysis and forecasting to key stakeholders
- Interact with a wide range of stakeholders, including law enforcement and intelligence agencies, embassies, source markets, and destinations
About You
We are looking for a candidate with a proven track record of experience in hotel audit management and security management, as well as a strong understanding of geopolitics and its impact on tourism business operations. You should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop effective working relationships across our business units and with external providers.
