Job Overview

Cyber Security Specialists are responsible for implementing effective security measures across software and services, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of sensitive information.

At H&M Group, our Cyber Security Specialists contribute specialized security expertise in key technology domains, including secure software development, cloud computing, network security, key management, encryption, and data protection. This role is integral to proactively shaping the technological delivery within the organization, enabling project and product teams to create secure products and services that safeguard our customers, business, colleagues, and overall ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert security guidance to product and service teams, focusing on specific technology areas such as cloud security, network protection, secure software development, data privacy, and disaster recovery planning.
  • Design, develop, test, deploy, and ensure compliance with security standards, while offering technical support and recommending enhancements to products and services.
  • Create and implement necessary processes and tools to assist technology delivery teams.
  • Establish and develop security protocols and guidelines.
  • Plan, execute, manage, monitor, and upgrade security measures to protect the organization's data, systems, and networks.
  • Diagnose and resolve security-related issues and control challenges.
  • Ensure the organization's data and infrastructure are safeguarded by implementing appropriate security measures.
  • Engage in the change management process.
  • Identify opportunities for automation and participate in the design, implementation, and support of automation solutions.
  • Conduct daily administrative tasks, reporting, and liaising with relevant departments within the organization.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience with cloud services such as Azure and Google Cloud.
  • Familiarity with systems like Microsoft Defender, Sentinel, and/or Pureview, as well as email and domain security, and Office 365 Security.
  • Proactive approach to identifying and addressing potential challenges and opportunities.
  • Strong curiosity and passion for technology and its underlying mechanisms.
  • Enthusiasm for acquiring new knowledge and skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks effectively, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and possess excellent communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills, creativity, and a customer-focused mindset.
  • Demonstrated commitment, ownership, and attention to detail.

  • Effective team player capable of conveying technical concepts to peers and individuals with limited technical backgrounds, positively contributing to the team environment.
