Job Summary

This exciting opportunity is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Commercial Advisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial management, with experience in developing and implementing commercial strategies to drive business growth and improve profitability.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Developing and implementing the company's commercial strategy to drive business growth and improve profitability
  2. Long-term financial planning and analysis in support of approved commercial strategy
  3. Financial modelling to assess the viability of projects and opportunities
  4. Analysing business performance, including profitability, revenue, pricing, and cost of goods sold
  5. Driving efficiencies to ensure contracts remain financially viable and delivered on budget
  6. Managing commercial agreements, including MoU's, LOI's, and collaboration with Marketing to analyse and manage commercial elements
  7. Leading the development of pricing strategies for commercial agreements
  8. Providing pricing analysis to guide off-take discussions and developing pricing tools and templates to consider different products, order sizes, and customers
  9. Taking a lead role in solving commercial issues that may arise, ensuring stakeholders understand and adhere to contractual obligations
  10. Supporting Sales and Marketing teams to build and maintain customer relationships
  11. Developing business cases, analyses, and Board papers relevant to this role
  12. Providing commercial expertise and acting as Talga contact for Independent Technical Experts
  13. Supporting Procurement function with commercial expertise

Additional responsibilities include conducting financial modeling to assess the feasibility of new projects and business opportunities, providing insights that guide strategic decisions.

Collaboration with business unit managers is essential to drive financial performance and efficiency, ensuring all contracts remain financially viable and delivered on budget.
