About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Communications Manager to join our team at St1 Nordic Oy. As a key member of our Corporate Communications team, you will play a crucial role in driving the energy transition by sharing our actions and vision with stakeholders.

Main Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the development of our Group communication strategy, aligning with our vision to be the leading producer and seller of CO2-aware energy.
  • Support the St1 Group in identifying and fulfilling communications needs across all value chains, from production facilities to end customers.
  • Actively participate in strategic and cross-functional project teams, leveraging your expertise to drive success through proactive and professional communication.
  • Manage media relations, both proactive and reactive, to maintain a strong reputation for the company.
  • Develop, update, and moderate our internal and external communication channels, including the Intranet, Website, LinkedIn, and Townhalls.
  • Take special responsibility for the communication work in Sweden, focusing on St1 Sverige and St1 Refinery.
Requirements
  • Several years of experience in demanding communications tasks, with a proven track record of success.
  • Ability to partner with the business to deliver results, driving growth and innovation.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to craft impactful messaging and convert complex topics into engaging narratives.
  • Fluency in Swedish and English, with the ability to communicate effectively in both languages.
  • Ability to engage and lead people without a formal leadership role, fostering a collaborative and inclusive team environment.
  • Digital knowledge and skills, with experience in using various communication channels and tools.
  • Excellent cooperation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders across the organization.
  • Experience in sustainability communications is an advantage, as is experience in the energy sector and international organizations.
