The Senior Sales Engineer Role

You will work closely with our sales teams to deliver innovative solutions that meet customer needs by providing technical support during the sales cycle for our relevant solutions within Hirebridge's Indirect Tax Technology Suite (ITTS).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop expert-level understanding of functionality and technical architecture of our products
  • Assist in client discovery process to uncover unforeseen challenges and desired solution architecture
  • Maintain firm understanding of customer needs, pain points, and requirements around ITTS and align Hirebridge solutions to fulfill those needs
  • Collaborate with sales teams to conduct sales and solutions presentations
  • Work closely with professional services and product functions to ensure successful onboarding post-sale
  • Develop and maintain demonstration capabilities to present compelling narratives of key features and benefits of Hirebridge solutions
  • Conduct in-depth technical presentations and product demonstrations to prospects and clients
  • Act with integrity and demonstrate ethical behavior in all matters with stakeholders
  • Take full responsibility for ensuring internal and external customer satisfaction
  • Demonstrate self-awareness and commitment to personal development and learning
  • Foster culture of continuous improvement, adept at optimizing sales workflows and driving efficiency to enhance revenue growth and customer satisfaction
  • Develop and lead training sessions within and outside sales engineer department
  • Serve as subject matter expert surrounding creation of RFP and RFI responses for prospective new clients

What We Need From You

  • Bachelor's in related field, or equivalent combination of experience and education
  • Minimum 6 years of sales engineer experience or equivalent
  • Ability to be strategic towards business outcomes and manage day-to-day details and deadlines
  • Strong team orientation with history of working collaboratively in fast-paced environment
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at once and prioritize activities
  • Thorough knowledge of MS Office software including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Well-developed business ethics and ability to maintain high level of discretion
  • Self-motivated and strong drive to succeed
  • Solid knowledge of different communication protocols and delivery formats
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Moderate travel required for client meetings, trade shows, Hirebridge events, and special projects
