Job Description

The Key Account Manager for Consumer is a vital role within Galderma, a leading dermatology company. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and strengthening client relationships, ensuring high-quality customer service, and resolving issues.

This individual will engage with clients to understand their business needs, prepare proposals, and collaborate on industry-specific activities. The role involves working independently on complex projects, mentoring junior employees, and influencing stakeholders to adopt new practices.

  1. Manage offline and store channels in Sweden, providing exceptional customer service and resolving client issues promptly.
  2. Develop and execute strategies to retain and strengthen client relationships through Key Account & Client Management Plans.
  3. Identify client business requirements, prepare proposals and quotations, and engage with clients to meet their needs.
  4. Contribute to the creation and management of processes related to Key Account & Client Management programs and policies.
  5. Collaborate on activities specific to the industry to enhance client relationships and coordinate customer-facing roles.
  6. Manage large and complex projects independently, lead process improvement initiatives, and design new processes.
  7. Direct the work of junior employees, provide training and mentorship, and manage processes and programs.
  8. Build and maintain strong relationships with internal departments, external service providers, and key stakeholders, providing technical guidance and influencing new practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate should possess:

  • 8-12 years of experience in key account management or a related field.
  • Proven track record of managing and strengthening client relationships.
  • Category management experience within consumer and FMCG industries, project management skills, and a proven network.
  • Advanced education, such as a Master's degree in Business Administration or Marketing, is often preferred.
  • Technical guidance and mentoring abilities.
