About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Indirect Tax Specialist to join our Tax Services team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing indirect tax-related activities and services, with a focus on executing accurate and timely reporting and payments for all indirect tax returns for the applicable legal entities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, validate, and submit all indirect tax reporting filings and requirements for the applicable legal entities, including maintaining indirect tax records and information.
  • Manage corrections, payments, and/or VAT refunds, as well as manage and reconcile the VAT accounts.
  • Support the indirect tax business partner and other stakeholders with input and requested information/data, including participation in tax audits and relevant projects.
  • Act as the first point of contact for questions related to indirect tax, escalating to the indirect tax reporting manager and indirect tax business partner if required.
  • Carry out relevant tax trainings for AP and AR, in cooperation with the indirect tax reporting manager and indirect tax business partner.
  • Involve in projects related to the implementation of solutions to fulfill indirect tax requirements in SAP and other relevant tools.

Requirements

  • University degree in tax/economics/business or equivalent with relevant practice.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience within indirect tax and knowledge in indirect tax reporting, especially in the DACH region.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team.
  • Strong analytical skills, structured way of working, flexibility, and openness to change.
  • Knowledge of SAP, Microsoft Office, and experience with financial reporting systems.
  • Strong English language skills and ability to travel when circumstances allow.
