The HR organization at Skanska Sverige AB consists of four units that provide operational HR support to the business and five strategic units with specialist expertise in various HR areas. Learning and Leadership Development is one of the strategic units.
About the Role
As the Functional Manager, you drive Skanska Sweden's development as a learning organization with a focus on developing employees' competencies and ensuring a strong leadership culture. You have overall responsibility for strategy, development, and progress within the function's main areas of responsibility:
- Skanska Sweden as a learning organization
- Leadership at Skanska Sweden – Our way of leading
- Talent management, succession planning, and executive recruitment
- Competence and leadership development, including nomination programs, training programs, individual and team development
- Training administration for all educational initiatives at Skanska Sweden
Focus areas during the current business plan period include:
- Leading the implementation of our updated leadership framework in collaboration with different parts of the organization, ensuring its integration into processes, ways of working, programs, and development initiatives
- Continuing to drive the transformation and development of Skanska Sweden as a learning organization
As a leader, you have personnel, forecast, and budget responsibility, focusing on creating sustainable and efficient working methods. You lead a team of 12 employees with high expertise in their roles as leadership developers, executive recruiters, HR specialists, and training administrators. You collaborate broadly within HR, with line managers, and other units that are vital for successfully influencing and driving change. Your ability to build relationships and drive change is crucial for creating effective and sustainable results.

To succeed in the role, you have:
- At least 10 years of experience leading learning, competence, and leadership development in a large organization
- At least 10 years of experience as a manager with direct personnel responsibility
- Proven experience in leading transformation initiatives to enhance learning capabilities in a large organization
- Experience with budgeting and financial forecasting
- An academic degree in a relevant field or equivalent qualifications deemed appropriate by the employer
Experience in managing, developing, and running large leadership development programs is advantageous, as are knowledge of digital learning platforms.
You are proficient in advanced Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
