Your Mission

We are looking for an exceptional CEO to lead and develop our upcoming team in Sweden from Stockholm. As CEO, you will be responsible for building our Swedish division and ensuring that we make the right venture investments with the right investors. You will ensure that we continuously develop our people and portfolio to succeed in our mission to become the largest venture investor in Europe.

Our Mission

CVX is one of Europe's fastest-growing venture investors and is executing on our path to becoming Europe's largest venture investor by providing high-growth companies with capital, knowledge, and network.

We are driven by our belief that the best investors are often those that provide founders with the right knowledge, experience, and network for the specific stage and industry. CVX always invests with and through the best angels for the particular founder. Today, we have over 600 angel investor partners in CVX that invest in and support companies they can add a value-adding difference to.

What you will do

As CEO, you will:

- Build our Swedish division
- Define and execute your strategy and adjust continuously
- Be responsible for the Swedish profit & loss and overall operations
- Be responsible for rapidly building a large and value adding pool of partners
- Recruit the right people and constantly develop the employees
- Lead end-to-end investment deals from deal sourcing to investment
- Find and attract the best investment cases
- Lead the Swedish expansion including potential acquisitions
- Represent CVX at events, gatherings, conferences, etc.

We expect that you have:

- Proactive approach and take ownership of everything you do
- Passion for analyzing and investing in companies
- Ability to sell yourself and CVX
- Outstanding analytical and structured problem-solving skills
- Fluency in English
- Preferably, experience in venture capital or related field
- Preferably, experience leading and managing a team
- Preferably, a network in the Swedish start-up ecosystem
