The role
As the Head of Production at Imagien, you will oversee all aspects of film and content creation - ensuring that everything related to our film productions is highly organized, professionally executed, and delivered with technical excellence in line with the creative vision and timelines.

You will collaborate closely with the CEO, CPO, Marketing, and other stakeholders to film live events in line with our innovative vision, produced in a way that excites and inspires audiences. This is a unique opportunity to capture groundbreaking productions for audiences to enjoy from their homes anywhere in the world, without sacrificing quality.

What You'll Do

  • Own the end-to-end production. Lead all aspects of film production, from concept development to final delivery. Develop and execute production strategies that align with the company's creative and financial goals and ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and at the highest quality standards.
  • Develop the formats for our unique productions including creative structure (in partnership with our CEO), technical framework, production workflow & logistics, and format for distribution and audience engagement (in partnership with product).
  • Establish all internal production handling processes, including the storage of originals and production assets, establishing the right studio setup and ways of working with partners, hardware, and tools/software.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, permits & insurance, copyright laws, and distribution requirements.
  • Activate a highly engaged network of production partners. Source, negotiate contracts, and coordinate with key personnel, technology, and equipment required for the production process, in line with studio budgets.
  • Unlock scalability for our production capabilities by setting up structured ways of working with industry partners (e.g., production playbooks) and establishing a scalable, repeatable framework for efficiently running a higher volume of productions without sacrificing production quality or delivery timelines.
  • Foster a creative and efficient work environment to drive innovative storytelling.

Who You Are

  • You have proven experience as a Producer, Head of Production, or similar role in the film industry, ideally with experience in live broadcast or documentary style films.
  • You have broad experience working across multiple roles in the industry, a 'jack of all trades' with knowledge of camera work, sound engineering, set design, directing, post-production editing, etc.
  • You've seen it all, you're very senior but love creating, being hands-on, and producing. You're inspired by the journey.
  • You possess a deep technical understanding of requirements for film productions across production planning, budgeting, tech & equipment, and logistics. You can marry the creative vision with technical production requirements and know how it all comes together.
  • You have expertise in film production workflows, post-production, and distribution.
  • You are highly organized, an excellent project manager, and have extensive experience with stakeholder management.
  • You have exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills, and can hold your own in industry settings while representing the Imagien brand with integrity and in line with our values.
  • You are very familiar with legal and compliance aspects of film production.
  • You have a proven ability to handle multiple projects and tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
