As a Partner Business Manager for SAP Denmark, you are responsible for promoting our entire product portfolio through a team of partners. You are the single point of contact for all sales opportunities that have a partner component, both internally and externally. You are the face of SAP and accountable for building and maintaining the relationship with our partners. This position reports to the Nordic head of Partner and Alliances and will be located in our SAP office in Copenhagen.
Your work duties include working directly with the sales team, managing partner relationships, and driving pipeline and revenue sales. Additional important tasks are to create awareness for company products among the assigned team of partners, coordinate training, consulting, and joint development activities, and coordinate effective marketing programs within partner channels. You will plan and execute Go-To-Market activities within the market unit for the holistic SAP Portfolio, build and execute on annual operational plans to support revenue targets, investigate and initiate product initiatives and business plans, and act as an SAP ambassador representing SAP in industry associations and events.
To be successful, you should be a natural networker and influencer, have previous experience in partner-driven sales in a cloud software company, be a problem solver who loves challenges, and be a trusted partner to the business. You should be a team player, have an "eager to develop" mindset, and can easily adapt and navigate in large matrix organizations.
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
- Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline preferred.
- Good sales or business development/demand generation experience.
- Act strong and secure with senior management executives.
- Good understanding of how to create value through partnering and how to successfully execute on alliances.
- Familiar with SAP, its products and solutions, partners, markets, and competition.
- Business experience, preferably with a major high technology corporation or strategic consulting firm to forge initiatives and go-to-market plans with partners.
- High impact interpersonal, networking, presentation, and communication skills.
- Excellent knowledge of English and Danish.
WORK EXPERIENCE
- 4+ years working experience in the software industry.
- 3+ years in a customer or partner-facing role (e.g., Customer Service, Sales, Consulting).
- Experience of working in a large matrix organization.
