Sales Director

Our client is one of the leading players in the Telecoms software and services space and has a global headcount of around 30,000 people.
The Sales Director will pursue new businesses and grow existing businesses developing and implementing sales strategy principally toward Telia and secondarily other Telco Service Providers in Sweden. Our client's software and services cover many areas such as BSS, CX, Marketing, Cloud migration, OSS, 5G Core, Charging, Policy, and Digital Transformation.
This is a sole contributor role that involves new business hunting and cross-selling. The client is ideally looking for a Swedish speaker but there is some flexibility on that aspect.
Responsibilities:- You will be a high-impact contributor who is responsible for building long-term partnerships with existing and new customers.
- Extend and develop positive relationships with key purchasing decision-makers, executive sponsors, coaches, and influencers to extend the reach of my client.
- You will build out network growth and evolution plans with accountability of winning, customer valued network offerings.
- You will be a problem solver: be creative, innovative, think outside the box. Teach the customer something new and relevant to them. Help the customer to think differently/consider new or creative ways of solving the problem.
- You will act as the customer champion, by constantly looking for improvement areas and ways to delight and retain through customer satisfaction.
- You will demonstrate value: understand the desired customer outcome and what this is worth to the customer.
- 10+ years of sales experience on selling software or services to Telia (any of BSS, CX, PCRF, DPI, OSS, Service Assurance, Orchestration, Inventory, 5G slicing etc).
- Deep, demonstrable relationships at Telia.
- Proven track record in closing large and complex deals through developing and execution of sales strategies across different markets.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in Telecommunications, networking industry (BSS, OSS, 4G / 5G, Virtualisation / Cloud Services and Evolution).
- Excellent interpersonal communication, collaboration and team building skills.
- Fluent English (verbal and written); proficiency in languages relevant to the accounts/region is preferable.
- Executive-level communication and presenting skills.
