As Facility Manager at Mathem, you will be responsible for every technical and mechanical aspect of the building. While being hands-on when necessary, the Facility Manager also hires and develops their own team, which will oversee systems like cooling and ventilation systems, light fixtures, and fire and smoke detection, to name a few. Also, the role is in charge of a state-of-the-art facility, and at the same time work hands-on together with the team.

Main tasks
  • Being Installation manager (IM), as well as electrical safety advisor (elsäkerhetssamordnare)
  • Coordinate construction and repairs of technical, electrical, and mechanical equipment related to the building
  • Ensure that all requirements for the building are met through inspections, maintenance, and repairs
  • Plan and perform preventive maintenance
  • Indirect and direct procurement of facility-related equipment and services
  • Be the main point of contact for service providers
  • Be a part of planning and setting up our brand new facility if relevant
  • Recruit, onboard, and develop team members
  • Push to continuously improve the team while taking part in cross-functional projects
  • Cooperate with other functions in the Fulfillment Center to ensure that the facility enables the operation to perform
Qualifications
  • 4+ years of relevant work experience in facility management, electrics, engineering, or other relevant fields
  • Technical education in electrical engineering
  • Solid experience in property management and technical operations
  • Experience working with electrical safety, risk assessment, and regulatory requirements
  • Knowledge of ESA, SS-EN 50110-1, and electrical safety regulations
  • Ability to run maintenance and safety projects
  • Merits: Certification as an electrical installer, experience in Self-inspection Program (EKP)
  • Previous experience managing a team and delegating tasks
  • Experience using Maintenance Planning Systems
  • Proficient in MS Office, Google Workspace, and Slack
  • Hold a driver's license (Class B)
  • Fluent in English and Swedish
