Business Cutover Lead - for a strategic ERP implementation

We are looking for an experienced Business Cutover Lead for a strategic ERP implementation within the manufacturing industry. The assignment initially runs from April 2025 to December 2025, with a high likelihood of extension.

About the Role:

As a Business Cutover Lead, you will be part of an implementation program responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing business cutover activities leading up to the system Go-Live. The role involves close collaboration with both internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure a successful transition.

Responsibilities:

  • Define and ensure the business cutover strategy and planning.
  • Manage and coordinate business activities before and during the system transition, including ramp-down, freeze periods, and ramp-up.
  • Ensure business readiness for Go-Live through structured Business Readiness Checks.
  • Lead and coordinate activities during the Go-Live week.
  • Collaborate with the implementation partner and business streams to build a robust cutover strategy.
  • Work with the business to ensure continuity in case of extended freeze periods.
  • Establish clear communication channels with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support during the hypercare period after Go-Live to ensure a smooth transition.
  • Assist in resolving issues that impact release scope, quality, and timeline.
  • Work closely with all business areas to ensure successful collaboration with external parties such as customers and suppliers.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Relevant academic degree in fields such as business administration, logistics, computer science, or IT.
  • Solid experience in planning and executing cutover activities within large ERP implementation projects.
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA in a complex landscape.
  • Ability to see the big picture while also being able to work at a detailed level when required.
  • Experience in ERP implementation projects and understanding of the organizational challenges they entail.
  • Experience in project planning and different methodologies.
  • Experience using tools such as Jira, Excel, and Microsoft Project.

Language Skills:

  • Swedish (preferred)

  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.

Location and Travel:

The primary workplace is in Stockholm, but the company has operations in multiple locations across Sweden, Finland, and the USA. Some travel may be required.
