Sales Engineer Denmark

Bengtssons Maskin was founded back in 1913 and in the 1950s we started to focus on mechanical transmissions. Over the years, we have expanded with many more products to have a range as wide as possible. We develop and deliver solutions to OEM customers in mechanical power transmissions all over the Nordic countries, Poland, and Baltics. Your role will be to develop the Danish market with the mindset of profitable sustainable growth. You have as support a dedicated team at our headquarters in Arlöv where we also tailor made our products according to the need of our customer. Our suppliers that are mainly European are within the top of their business segment and have been working close together with us in a partnership for decades.
Your Role and Responsibilities
In this role you must be able to drive the business forwards and be persistent in your projects. You will take full responsibility for your sales budget, with a focus on developing business with OEMs, existing and new customers. Building strong relationships with both new and existing customers will be key to your success. Living our core values is essential to be a part of a strong and dedicated group with a strong team spirit.
Qualifications for The Role
- Degree in mechanical engineering or appropriate experience in mechanics.
- Proven experience in sales/business development to Danish OEMs.
- High business acumen with a strategic view.
- Strong technical interest and understanding.
- IMPORTANT Strong communication skills in both Danish and English, written and spoken.
- Experience in sales of gearboxes and bearings is an advantage.
