The role of Director Portfolio Management
  • Together with the portfolio colleagues, you drive the adoption of our portfolio and go-to-market strategy across our markets and guard our strategic corporate portfolio roadmap.
  • You foster collaboration and knowledge-sharing by driving portfolio management transformation and maturity through continuous improvement in close collaboration with all portfolio stakeholders.
  • Throughout the strategic business planning cycle, you are a trusted advisor and mentor to the team in creating ambitious data-driven strategies and compelling value propositions.
  • You are responsible for the portfolio strategy of the data & insights domain.
  • You build and defend complex investment business cases that drive future growth and synergies across our markets.
  • You are the partner for the M&A team in leading the portfolio stream throughout the M&A process.
  • You have a continuous eye on the market to optimize and streamline our portfolio strategy and to identify growth opportunities for our business.
  • Based on your research, you create the business plan for new strategic growth opportunities.
  • You are a true team player, so challenging views, sharing expertise, and encouraging intrapreneurship comes naturally to you.
  • Reporting to the Group VP of Portfolio Management, you will be part of the portfolio management team.
  • You will be based in Germany/UK/Spain/The Netherlands/Sweden/France and willing to travel up to 20%.
  • Brings a proven experience (+8Y) in strategic consulting, go-to-market strategy, or portfolio management in B2B technology and services industries.
  • A solid knowledge of the European payroll services and HR tech market is considered a strong plus.
  • Has experience as a mentor and coach.
  • Has strategy development for product and service offerings in a digital context.
  • Is a hands-on intrapreneur who truly takes on commitment and delivers.
  • Has the capability to drive business (model) innovation in a complex technology and compliance environment.
  • Is decisive, backed by numbers and expertise.
  • Always sees the bigger picture, looking forward to realize the overall strategy of our company.
  • Is a strong internal and external networker with a natural presence that generates impact at all levels.
  • As a critical analytical mind, contributes to the continuous challenging of the status quo and fuels innovation.
  • Can represent portfolio management in partnership and M&A initiatives.
  • Is a true team player. One for all, all for one
  • Is fluent in English (spoken and written), any other European language is a plus.
