Imagine yourself on the way to work, a regular Wednesday morning. As you pass the city and the fields and look out; you see a Truck, a Construction Machine, and a Bus. All with the Volvo Brands. When looking at the driver in one of the Buses you pass, you realize that you can see how much these persons loves their vehicle, in the way their eyes spark and from their facial expressions. You can also see the satisfaction amongst the passengers – someone is sleeping, someone is looking out the window relaxing, and someone is talking in the phone, without needing to raise their voice, as the bus is electric and so quiet. As you look at these people and see their positive feelings, you feel proud. You feel proud since you are a part of building these customer experiences. You are doing it through creating new and advanced solutions for insights on perceived customer satisfaction in combination with future technologies, based on data and analytics

Understanding what happens on the market and in the field, how our products are used in operation, is a key enabler for rapidly getting quality improvements in place and to increase the customer satisfaction. We are driven by passion, and we also value great communication – as the Director you both act as a mentor and coach for your own management team.

Product quality, uptime & customer satisfaction are fundamental factors to make our customers successful. It has a direct impact on their business and for them to keep their commitments. As Director for Quality & Customer satisfaction Sweden within Group Trucks Technology (GTT) you will help our customers to embrace new technology and products, securing highest quality and customer experience. What more can you wish for?

You will work closely with the markets to understand how our products are used in operation, the quality situation and the customer satisfaction. The Technical service teams in your organization are supporting the field service engineers with any new issue, guiding them to help our customers supported by product development. The Product Quality teams initiate quality improvement work and secure that the solutions reach our customers as fast as ever possible. Your direct responsibility is heavy-duty products in Europe, but you are also a contributor in the global management team. You and your team will make a difference every day

To be successful in this position you need to have a collaborative mindset working closely with product development as well as our brands, always being the customer voice. You are good at prioritization and decision-making to nurture a sustainable workload for yourself and your team in a fast-paced environment. You can zoom out to see the bigger picture but can also deep dive into a topic when needed. You are able leverage the power of data analytics to take more informed decisions. You are curious and eager to learn

You have a university degree in Engineering and you are an experienced manager from the automotive business, preferably from a position where you have been leading leaders. You are respected for your leadership
