Regional Sales Manager - Urology - Nordics

Purpose Statement

The primary objective of this role is to support the National Sales Manager (NSM), Business Unit Manager (BUM), or Business Unit Director (BUD) in achieving business goals by leading a regional or national team. You will develop and execute sales strategies for specific Boston Scientific products, ensuring accountability for overall sales and business performance. This involves managing all aspects of the division and product franchise sales to secure a market leadership position in the country. You will collaborate with corporate, regional, and country sales strategies to drive sales tactics, product positioning, market penetration, training, and forecasting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Industry knowledge: Provide continual tools and education to ensure group members stay informed on industry trends, competitors, and products. Gather data on competitors' sales tactics, prepare your team to counter them, and keep the marketing organization informed.
  • Business Management & Sales Execution: Conduct Quarterly Business reviews, identify sales forecast gaps, recommend promotion programs, and ensure effective territory management. Develop a region targeting program, support selling initiatives, and collaborate with the Marketing Team on expansion analysis.
  • Market Insight: Understand the healthcare industry, country health policies, pricing strategies, and customer needs to position the organization effectively in the market.
  • Building & Maintaining Relationships: Maintain key account relationships, seek profitable ventures, and participate in customer forums. Develop relationships across all functional areas.
  • Clinical Excellence: Sell the entire product line and collaborate with internal teams on new product launches and business practices.
  • Creative Economic & Value-Added Solutions: Develop relationships with economic buyers, collaborate on contract negotiations, and create bundled product and service offerings.
  • Quality: Ensure full compliance with quality systems, drive quality awareness, and provide input on local issues to improve performance.
  • People Development: Support team professional development, provide feedback, and monitor sales performance. Share personal selling experiences to motivate and teach applicable skills.
  • Sales Cloud: Ensure team proficiency in the Company's CRM system for effective customer information recording and activities tracking.
