We are seeking an experienced Product Owner to contribute to the development of Nordea Business Web & Mobile, the digital bank for Small and Mid-size Enterprises (SME's) in Business Banking. About this opportunity

Welcome to the SME Digital division in Business Banking. As a Senior or Expert Product Owner, you will play a crucial role in the development of Nordea Business, collaborating with various stakeholders, understanding customer requirements, capturing business value, and delivering solutions alongside an Agile team dedicated to the product delivery. You will oversee a specific area or product domain as part of your daily PO responsibilities, working closely with your product trio.

This opportunity allows you to contribute to realizing our vision of becoming the top digital SME bank, offering a comprehensive business platform with seamless cashflow management. We are continually enhancing Nordea Business to serve as a modern platform that not only functions as a Nordic web and mobile bank but also supports digital sales, offers financial insights, value-adding services, and access to advisors. With an ambitious strategy and roadmap in place, we need your support in achieving our goals.

What you will be doing:

  • Collaborating with stakeholders to translate our vision and strategy into concrete epics, features, and user stories
  • Managing, refining, and prioritizing the team's backlog with a future-oriented perspective
  • Owning specific domains within the Nordea Business solution and becoming a subject matter expert
  • Working with service and UX designers to enhance customer experience
  • Handling delivery dependencies across different teams and units within Nordea and potentially externally
  • Leading a cross-functional agile delivery team and making decisions within your team's context
  • Delivering business and customer value by balancing time-to-market with high quality

The position is based in Helsinki, Finland, or Stockholm, Sweden, and involves collaborating with teams and individuals across the Nordics and Poland. Some travel may be required.

Your experience and background

  • Experience in business development and service design
  • Interest in SME customers, business, and products/services
  • Familiarity with Nordea IT infrastructure is a plus
  • Experience with Agile Methods and tools like JIRA or Confluence
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree with relevant work experience as a product owner
  • Proficiency in English
