As such, we are now looking for a Regional Buyer to join Wolt's Indirect Procurement team to help our Scandinavian (Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Iceland) and Baltics (Lithuania, Estonia, Latvia) and Finland teams and be responsible for their procurement activities. You will play a pivotal role in helping our local teams to manage different vendors and their purchases.

As a Regional Buyer you will be responsible for all sourcing and purchasing activities, like raising and receiving purchase orders, maintaining our vendor and item database up-to-date, contracting, vendor management, lead or support sourcing projects. We are growing fast and, while our processes and tools are constantly evolving, you will be in a key position to contribute on building what is best for Wolt.

While the role will be more operational in the (purchasing), with our broader team's guidance and as you will earn trust among the short-term local teams, we foresee in the mid-term the role to take more challenges in the broader procurement area and lead strategic sourcing projects among the regions allocated. This position is part of our Indirect Procurement team, directly reporting to the Head of Indirect Procurement and working daily with various country teams in Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Iceland, Lithuania, Estonia and Latvia, Finland, but also collaborating with the central teams.

What you'll be doing:

  • Contracting: supporting or leading the contracting stage, including negotiations on new contracts, renewals or offboardings;
  • Sourcing: running tender/ bidding processes for major spend projects, offering support in mid and low value ones;
  • Vendor management: communication, onboarding new vendors, escalation point;
  • Reporting: build & maintain reports and conduct spend analytics;
  • Purchasing: create, manage and receive purchase orders, purchase requisitions for global goods and services, item management in Wolt database;
  • Compliance: working closely with various teams and vendors to ensure that compliance is followed;
  • Other tasks can include: improving the actual ordering process, supporting our auditing teams in various tasks related to vendors.
Qualifications
  • Experience in Indirect Procurement across the Nordics and/or Baltics;
  • Great analytical and negotiating skills are required;
  • Ability to drive projects independently and hands-on mentality;
  • Eagerness to learn and develop new skills;
  • Willingness to boost your career in procurement;
  • Excellent English skills and eligible to work in the EU (Scandinavian or Baltics language is a plus);
  • Location to be based in Stockholm or Helsinki with travel up to 40 days annually.
