Successful Inside Sales Representatives at Splunk have a clear advancement path within the sales department and related marketing functions.

Responsibilities:
As a part of this role, you will demonstrate the ability to concentrate on an organization's goals, challenges, issues, and collaborate with Splunk Field Sales to bring value to these organizations throughout our sales procedure.

You will:

  • Create leads for your designated area using demand generation and prospecting tools
  • Identify new prospects swiftly and establish strong connections with them
  • Discover and pinpoint new possibilities in fresh accounts and/or buying hubs
  • Evaluate these opportunities by delving deep into the problem and demonstrating how Splunk can resolve it, applying the Budget, Authority, Need, and Timeline method
  • Research and present business insights about customers and potential clients
  • Generate business prospects through professional networking and cold approaches
  • Occasionally travel for training and meetings
  • You will steer sales undertakings on highly strategic accounts and projects, operating within a network of elite sales, technical, and operational partners. Successful team members showcase their sales expertise and move forward to other sales roles and different responsibilities.

What you need to excel in this position:

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in selling or generating demand for enterprise IT solutions (such as BI, data analytics, security software, risk management software, or networking performance)
  • Proficiency in the Dutch language
  • A passion for research, data, and analytics that drives actionable decisions
  • An aptitude for interpreting business data to convey a compelling and actionable narrative
  • Self-motivated and relentless in pursuing personal success
  • Strong presentation skills and effective communication
  • High energy and a positive outlook on challenges
  • Ability to handle objections and conflicts confidently
  • Logical problem-solving skills
  • Prioritization of tasks, discipline, and accountability
  • A commanding executive presence, with sophistication and dedication to client outcomes
