At Sandvik Machining Solutions (SMS), we are seeking a Data Transformation Officer to oversee our data management efforts, ensuring it is well-organized, of high quality, and used strategically to drive business success.

About the role:

  • Develop and enhance data integration and analytics capabilities.
  • Ensure continuous improvement of data's business value.
  • Act as the link between business and IT, focusing on delivering value from data, driving innovation, and effective data management.
  • Align technology platforms with SMS's strategic agenda.

You will work at the intersection of Enterprise Architecture and Agile Data & Analytics delivery, managing information architecture and facilitating interactions between business and IT. Prioritizing the implementation of a governance stream for AI, Data & Automation to deliver digitized business capabilities.

This position is based in Stockholm or Sandviken, with weekly travel between sites required. A hybrid work model allows for a combination of office and remote work.

Your profile:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or related field.
  • Proven experience in data management, analytics, and business intelligence.
  • Track record of delivering measurable business outcomes.
  • Strong understanding of data governance principles and regulatory compliance.
  • Proficiency in data integration tools, database technologies, and analytics platforms.
  • Global work experience and proficient in English, knowledge of Swedish is a plus.
