Our experienced underwriting professionals use their specialized expertise to underwrite even the most complex risks innovatively and we are now looking for a Financial Lines Underwriter for the Nordics (Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Finland) with initial focus on Cyber.

This is a regulated role under the Central Bank of Ireland's Fitness and Probity regime.

What will your essential responsibilities include?

· Underwrite, manage and enhance the Nordic Financial Lines portfolio. With initial focus on the Cyber and Technology portfolio in a team of underwriters.

· Develop the offer of the products as a part of AXA XL Nordic Financial Lines

· Develop and manage the distribution channels for Financial Lines

· Manage policy wordings for Financial Lines

You will report to the Financial Lines Underwriting Manager for the Nordics.

We're looking for someone who has these abilities and skills:

· Moderate experience in Cyber and Technology PI underwriting ideally in a Nordic country or has a background in Commercial Property/Casualty underwriting, with an interest to grow within the exciting insurance products of Cyber and Technology PI.

· Preferred university degree in law, finance/business, insurance or other related fields, or qualification by experience

· IT literacy, Microsoft Office package literacy as a minimum

· Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) in English and at least one Nordic language Swedish, Norwegian or Danish (alternatively Finnish).

· German and/or French knowledge is an advantage

· Negotiation skills and a solution-oriented approach

· Passionate about doing business and driving growth in a dynamic market

· Organizational skills, ability to prioritize with both individual and the team's best interests in mind
