Sounds cool, what about the role

In this role you will establish a second line compliance function that previously has been an outsourced function. You will monitor and control the Company's regulatory compliance in relation to external and internal regulations relating to the operations subject to the permit and report the outcome to the CEO and the board.

Example of key tasks:

regularly evaluate Qred's internal requirements, routines and processes for regulatory compliance and assess whether these are appropriate and effective. The review aims identify areas of improvement where identified deficiencies need to be addressed;

carry out an annual risk analysis to identify the Company's compliance risks using a risk based approach;

provide advice and support to Qred's employees, CEO and the board regarding compliance with both external and internal rules;

take on MLRO responsibilities in accordance with external regulations;

participate in the NPAP process and ensure proposed changes to the business comply with the laws, regulations and other rules that apply to Qred's licensed operations; and

provide quarterly reports to the board and CEO containing a summary of the Company's regulatory compliance risks, new or amended laws and regulations, observations and recommendations after performed reviews.

What we are looking for

A university degree in law, economics or a related relevant discipline,

5+ years of relevant work experience in compliance from an in-house compliance officer role, and at least 1 year of experience as head of a compliance function.

Experience within the financial sector and working with the Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority (SFSA),

Excellent command of spoken and written Swedish and English, and

Experience within AML and fintech and/or payment services will be considered meritorious.

Traits we see as crucial in this position is that you are independent with an ability to drive initiatives independently, have high integrity, credibility, and self-motivated. Further, to succeed in this role, you are likely both pragmatic and solutions-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently as well as in a team in a fast-paced environment.
