Our underwriting teams are exceptional. Our experienced professionals in underwriting use their specialized expertise to evaluate complex risks in innovative ways and we are currently seeking a Financial Lines Underwriter for the Nordics (Sweden, Denmark, Norway, and Finland) with a primary focus on Cyber.

What will be your primary responsibilities?
- Underwrite, manage, and improve the Nordic Financial Lines portfolio, with an initial emphasis on the Cyber and Technology sector within a team of underwriters.
- Expand the range of products as part of AXA XL Nordic Financial Lines.
- Develop and oversee the distribution channels for Financial Lines.
- Handle policy wordings for Financial Lines.
You will directly report to the Financial Lines Underwriting Manager for the Nordics.
Share your skills
We are seeking an individual with the following capabilities and qualifications:
- Moderate experience in Cyber and Technology PI underwriting, preferably in a Nordic country or a background in Commercial Property/Casualty underwriting, with a keen interest in advancing within the dynamic insurance products of Cyber and Technology PI.
- Preferably holds a university degree in law, finance/business, insurance, or related fields, or equivalent experience.
- Proficient in IT, at least basic knowledge of the Microsoft Office package.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) in English and at least one Nordic language (Swedish, Norwegian, or Danish; alternatively Finnish).
- Knowledge of German and/or French is a plus.
- Strong negotiation abilities and a problem-solving mindset.
- Passionate about business activities and fostering growth in a vibrant market.
- Strong organizational skills, capable of prioritizing considering both individual and team interests.
