At ITB we are providing consumers everyday healthcare through a global network of distribution partners. It is a dynamic business with a truly global footprint; with partners in more than 50 markets across all continents.
Join us at Karo Healthcare on our exciting journey. We're currently looking for a Marketing Manager - International Trade Business (maternity cover for 1 year) for our office in Stockholm, Sweden.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Development & Leadership
- Lead the marketing department within the ITB team by defining and driving strategic goals and priorities
- Ensure alignment with the company's broader business goals and secure growth strategy in key markets
- Identify opportunities to improve marketing effectiveness and drive efficiencies in processes and ways of working
- Collaborate with the ITB leadership team to identify high-growth opportunities and set strategic direction of team efforts
Team Management & Development
- Lead, mentor, and develop a marketing team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture
- Support the day-to-day activities of the marketing team, providing guidance and direction to ensure projects are executed effectively and meet deadlines
- Set the framework for internal collaboration and manage relationships with external partners, ensuring a consistent approach to marketing execution
Marketing & Advertising (A&P) Budget Management
- Take full responsibility for the Advertising and Promotion (A&P) budget within export markets
- Monitor spending, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and a strong return on investment (ROI)
- Provide regular financial reporting and forecasting for marketing activities in the ITB markets
Acquisition Integration
- Leading the marketing integration of newly acquired brands or product lines into the existing business structure at ITB
- Overseeing the alignment of marketing strategies, ensuring brand coherence, and creating synergy between the newly acquired assets and the core business
- Leverage new capabilities and market opportunities, positioning the acquired business for success within the broader organization
Corporate Communications & Partner Relations
- Develop and execute the corporate communication strategy for ITB, ensuring clear, consistent, and engaging communication with external partners
- Ensure that corporate messaging aligns with the company’s global brand strategy while being tailored to the specific needs and cultural expectations of ITB markets
- Foster strong relationships with external partners by maintaining regular communication and providing them with the necessary marketing materials, updates, and support to effectively promote the Karo brands
Requirements
- University degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in marketing, specifically working in an international environment and working across different cultures
- Skilled in developing marketing strategies and the implementation of them
- Experience from working in an international environment and working across different
- Relevant background within consumer healthcare industry
- Ability to lead, motivate, and inspire others to achieve common goals
- Excellent networking capabilities internally and externally
- Brand & Project Management skills and international sales experience
- Being open to change, quickly adjusting to new environments or requirements
- Positive mindset and a can-do attitude
- Strong ability to assess complex information and produce copy in alignment with strategy, audience and voice
- Drive and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and effectively manage the workload
- Fluency in English; Swedish preferrable
