Are you our Global Treasury Director?

Responsible for all activities related to treasury and financial risk management across the Group and serves as the Group´s internal bank. The scope of responsibilities is broad and covers the entire set of treasury matters within the Group. The treasurer manage a team of three full time employees located, supported by administrative functions mainly located in Athens.

Being a stratefic and tactic sparring partner to the CFO and can credibly interact with board on subject specific matters. Drive efficiency within treasury and develop the function inline with the Group strategic agenda.

What will you do:

  • Responsible for assuring the terms in the group’s financing documents are respected, both from financial covenants as well as applicable restrictions.
  • Maintain a constant watch over the financial performance of the business and oversee the daily treasury operations, including cash management, funding, and foreign exchange activity.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive financing strategy, including debt issuance, bank financing, and investment opportunities.
  • Monitor and manage currency and interest rate risks, implementing hedging strategies to protect Intrums's financial interests.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, accounting, and markest, to support strategic initiatives and enhance financial decision-making.
  • Prepare and present detailed treasury reports to senior management, providing insights into cash flow trends, liquidity positions, and risk exposures.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and the treasury policy

What we’re looking for:

  • 10+ years of work experience within the Treasury or financial steering function.
  • Deep knowledge of treasury management related subjects:

Deep understanding of balance sheet and funding matters, cash forecasting as well as products related to interest rate and FX hedging, payables, receivables, payments, liquidity as well insights on how to set up liquidity management infrastructure.

  • Multi-country experience

Have worked in international, diversified businesses, and is thus comfortable working across cultural and geographic boundaries.

  • Stakeholder management

Experience at dealing with senior internal stakeholders as well as critical external stakeholders, including banks, credit investors and rating agencies
