We are looking for a solutions-oriented Gameplay Animator to join us in shaping the animation style for our new game IP. Leveraging Ubisoft Scalar, the game will have access to virtually unlimited amounts of computing power, creating gameplay never seen before.
What you will be doing:
- Define animation style together with our Art Director and drive implementation of gameplay animations.
- Define, manage and follow-up on animation goals through the life of the project.
- Nurture a positive culture based on constructive feedback, mentoring and coaching.
- Collaborate with Production to prioritize, coordinate and ensure timely delivery of tasks.
- Build and maintain animation pipelines and keep an eye on other internal workflows.
- Collaborate with all our other Leads, Directors and cross-functional teams.

We would love if you:
- Are a solutions-oriented individual with experience of setting up animation pipelines.
- Have a proactive approach in working with gameplay animation; being able to look at the horizon and plan for upcoming needs.
- Love gameplay animation and can facilitate meetings and discussions on the topic with any game dev craft.
- Are well experienced with DCC tools, keyframing, motion capture and implementation of animation into game engines.
- Know how to guide other animators, ensuring quality and that style is aligning with overall direction.
