Work Environment
As part of our Content Tech Tribe, you will work at the heart of Hubexo's global data and content ecosystem. You will collaborate closely with our Content Tech Director (based in Sweden), architects across the organisation, and multiple engineering and product squads.
You will be part of a highly collaborative, cross-functional environment where architects and engineering teams work together to build global, high-impact solutions using AWS, serverless design, and automated data processing.
Your Role
As a Solution Architect, you will own the architectural direction for our global content authoring, content management, and data ingestion platforms. Your work will shape a modern, scalable, and high-performing environment that powers the applications and products our customers rely on every day.
You will also help define how we use AWS, serverless technologies, automated data processing, APIs, and AI services to build the next generation of Hubexo's content solutions.
This is what you'll be doing
- You will own and lead the solution architecture for our content authoring and management platforms.
- You will design scalable, event-driven ingestion and enrichment pipelines that run at scale and support high throughput and low latency.
- You will define our API strategy for GraphQL and REST and ensure consistent patterns across teams.
- You will design observability across these platforms, including monitoring, logging, tracing, and alerting.
- You will embed security and compliance into every architectural decision and flow.
- You will identify opportunities to use AI, machine learning, and LLM-based services to enhance our data and platform capabilities.
- You will work with architects across the organisation to align principles and technical direction.
- You will support and mentor squads focused on data ingestion, enrichment, low-code development, APIs, and internal authoring tools.
Requirements
Your Core Competencies
- 8+ years in Solution, Cloud, or Software Architecture
- Deep hands-on experience with AWS and cloud-native design
- 3+ years designing scalable data pipelines / ETL / event-driven systems
- Strong expertise in API design (REST & GraphQL)
- Proven ability to build observability, ensuring performance, reliability, and data quality
- Strong focus on security and compliance in every architectural decision
- Ability to explain complex ideas clearly and collaborate effectively with engineering and product teams
- English proficiency at C1 level
Your Additional Qualifications
- Experience with event-driven architectures (Kafka, Pulsar, Kinesis, EventBridge)
- Hands-on software engineering experience (ideally in data pipelines)
- Experience with data scraping and enrichment tooling
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or similar
- Curiosity, innovation mindset, and ownership of high-impact architectural work
