Solution Data Architect for a client in the banking sector

ANIMARUM is seeking a Senior Data Architect who wants to create technology with a human perspective. With us, innovation is about more than code and algorithms – we develop solutions that empower both people and organizations.

About the role

You will work as a Solution Data Architect for one of our major clients in the banking industry. You will support both new initiatives and existing solutions as the bank transitions toward a modern target architecture. The role involves close collaboration with other architects, contributing to the ongoing data-driven transformation, and advising stakeholders across business, operations, and IT.

Key requirements


• Extensive experience in data architecture—from traditional data warehouses to Big Data and cloud platforms (GCP/BigQuery).


• Strong skills in data/information modeling (conceptual & logical, BOM) and familiarity with modeling frameworks, governance, methodologies, and tools.


• Ability to translate complex business needs into robust architectural solutions.


• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.


• Relevant academic background in Data/IT


• Experience in banking/finance is a plus.


• Knowledge of Data Mesh, DDD, Data Products, Hadoop, Kafka and related technologies.
