Partner Account Manager
, you'll spearhead our next phase of growth in the Independent Software Vendor space, challenging traditional partnership approaches and building the relationships that will define our market position.
This isn't about managing existing partnerships. This is about hunting, winning, and transforming how Independent Software Vendors think about payment integration. You'll be building something new while scaling something proven—the perfect environment for a partnership professional who wants to make a real impact.

The Independent Software Vendors landscape is evolving rapidly. Traditional partnership approaches aren't enough to win against well-funded competitors. We need someone who can think differently about how to position Nexi's value proposition, build compelling business cases, and create partnerships that drive meaningful revenue growth.
You'll be identifying and acquiring new Independent Software Vendors partners while challenging both our internal approach and market expectations about what partnership success looks like.
About Your Future Role
In this position, you will:
Hunt and Win Strategic Partnerships
- Identify and engage high-potential Independent Software Vendors partners
- Build compelling business cases that demonstrate clear ROI for integration partnerships
- Lead complex negotiations from initial contact through signed partnership agreements
- Convert competitive situations into wins through superior partnership value propositions
Drive Commercial & Technical Partnership Success
- Develop deep understanding of Independent Software Vendors business models, technical requirements, and integration capabilities
- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure seamless integration experiences
- Create go-to-market strategies that maximize partner revenue potential
- Balance commercial objectives with technical feasibility and implementation timelines
Transform Partnership Approach
- Challenge existing partnership frameworks and bring innovative ideas to market
- Provide market intelligence that shapes our Independent Software Vendors strategy and product development
- Test new partnership models and scale successful approaches
- Work with marketing teams to develop compelling partner-facing materials and campaigns
Own Revenue & Relationship Growth
- Manage partnership revenue targets and growth objectives
- Build long-term relationships that expand beyond initial integration scope
- Monitor partner performance and identify opportunities for deeper collaboration
- Ensure partner satisfaction while driving mutual business value
What Makes You a Great Fit
We're looking for someone eager to make a difference. Here's what we value:
Essential Qualifications:
- 5-8 years in partnership management, business development, or technical sales (Software Sales Experience)
- Proven success in acquiring new partnerships and managing complex stakeholder relationships
- Experience working with software vendors, or technology integration partners
- Track record of achieving revenue targets through partnership channels
- Comfortable navigating complex multinational organizations with matrix reporting structures and cross-functional collaboration
- Fluent English and Swedish.
Bonus Skills:
- Experience working with Independent Software Vendors,
- Comfortable discussing technical integration requirements and working with development teams
- Vertical Ecosystem Understanding: Deep knowledge of how software ecosystems operate within specific industries (e.g., retail ECR software, hospitality management systems, ERP platforms
