Join Sigicoms Finance Team – Financial Accountant

To support Sigicoms continued growth and strengthen the Finance function at their Stockholm HQ, situated in Älvsjö, they are now looking for a Financial Accountant to take on a key role in both day-to-day operations and the ongoing development of their financial processes and financial team.

You will be part of an experienced team where collaboration and mutual support are essential. In this role, you will take partial responsibility for the monthly reconciliation and the financial report of the group as well as one or more of Sigicoms subsidiaries. Over time, and depending on how the workload develops, you will also assist and guide your colleagues with accounting-related questions and support the Financial Manager in reviewing the monthly reconciliations of their subsidiaries.

The role also includes responsibility for year-end closings, annual reports, and income tax returns (INK2), as well as assisting the Financial Manager in the group consolidation process.

Depending on your background, interests, and capacity, you may also contribute in areas such as liquidity analysis, budgeting, payroll-related matters, and process improvement.

The Role

  • Support the monthly reconciliation for the parent company and financial reporting for the group.
  • Work with ongoing bookkeeping and periodic closings for entities handled from HQ.
  • Assist the Financial Manager with reviewing the monthly reconciliations/reporting of the subsidiaries.
  • Take over accounting responsibility for one or more subsidiaries now handled by consultants.
  • Prepare or assist with year-end closings, annual reports, and income tax returns (INK2).
  • Assist the Financial Manager in the group consolidation process.
  • Prepare VAT returns and assist with statutory reporting when applicable.
  • Support the Financial Manager in budgeting processes, liquidity analysis, and internal financial reports if or when needed.
  • Contribute to ongoing improvements in financial processes and procedures

The Profile

  • University degree in Finance/ Accounting or diploma as a qualified accountant (Higher Vocational Education)
  • Several years of experience in qualified accounting roles, preferably within an international environment.
  • An analytical, problem-solving, unpretentious, and communicative personality with an interest in the Group's activities.
  • Comfortable using ERP systems and a confident user of Excel and Office 365.
  • A communicative and supportive team player who enjoys sharing knowledge and working together.
  • Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
