We are seeking an experienced and ambitious Financial Accountant to join our team and help us continue to deliver high-quality internal and external financial reports, while continuously identifying and implementing improvements within the finance function. You will be part of our finance team and work closely with our external accounting firm to ensure timely and compliant month-end reporting.

Your Main Responsibilities Will Include

  • General accounting functions, eg.accounts payable, accounts receivable, day to day accounting, taxes and VAT.
  • Maintaining and reconciling balance sheet and general ledger accounts, closings, financial statements and reporting.
  • Audit preparations.
  • Develop the processes and challenge ways of working.
  • Ad-hoc analyses.
  • Other accounting duties from time to time.
  • Support and collaborate with other great colleagues in the company.

….So, what are we looking for?

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, or other equivalent experience.
  • At least 2-3 years' experience from a role within accounting/auditing/finance administration
  • A thorough understanding of accounting, from AR & AP to balance sheet to P&L
  • Excellent knowledge of Swedish accounting standards and tax legislation
  • Fluent in Swedish and English, speaking and writing
  • You have an eye for details and take responsibility for working proactively
  • Strong self-drive, but also a team player and collaborator across the organisation
  • A highly flexible mindset and ability to learn on the go
  • Basic understanding in financial processes
