The Opportunity

As our Group Financial Controller you will lead Circulose's day-to-day accounting operations while ensuring accurate and timely reporting and consolidation of financial results across units. This role is critical in safeguarding financial discipline and integrity, strengthening internal controls, and supporting operational efficiency through robust accounting practices. Circulose runs a lean organization and the role will work in close collaboration with the broader Finance team as well as commercial and operations teams. The role reports directly to Circulose CFO. The role is based at Circulose's office in Stockholm or at the manufacturing plant in Sundsvall.

Key Responsibilities of the role are but not limited to

Accounting Policies & Controls
 – Develop, implement, and maintain accounting policies, and financial procedures to ensure compliance with statutory and Group requirements.

Internal Control Frameworks
 – Develop, implement and monitor internal control frameworks to safeguard assets and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Compliance & Reporting –
Produce accurate and timely month-end/year-end closures including periodic management reporting in accordance with statutory regulations, Group requirements, and local laws.

End-to-End Accounting Operations –
Lead accounting functions including general ledger, accounts payable/receivables, fixed assets, project accounting, and consolidations, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.

Consolidated Financial Analysis
 – Analyze consolidated financial results, highlight trends, risks, and opportunities.

Audit & Regulatory Filings
 – Coordinate external audits and regulatory filings, ensuring smooth, compliant processes.

Finance Systems & Processes
 – Oversee finance system set up to align with business operations, ensuring compliance and operational excellence.

·
Continuous Improvement & Automation
 – Drive automation and optimization of accounting processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Cross-Functional Collaboration
 – Align accounting practices with business needs and support decision-making. Act as a trusted advisor to senior management.

Team Development & Training
 – Provide training and guidance to ensure consistent application of accounting policies and foster a culture of accountability and operational excellence.

Your Profile

· Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

· years of experience in accounting operations, including solid experience from Group Accounting.

· Hands-on experience with ERP systems and consolidation tools, preferably SAP.

· Experience from process industry is an advantage.
