We're seeking a highly motivated and engaged Financial Analyst to join our Global Business Control Team. This position offers a unique opportunity to work closely with a dedicated and collaborative team and the CFO as well as to play an important role in shaping Saab's financial strategy. You will contribute by leading and supporting initiatives aimed at supporting company targets, while partnering with a broad range of internal stakeholders. As a Financial Analyst, your key responsibilities will include:

• Independently identify and drive group initiatives such as profit improvements or capital efficiency improvements
• Ad hoc analysis to support decision makings in General management team and Board
• Developing and maintaining models for strategic and financial analysis and simulation.
• Analyzing financial results, forecasts, and business plans across Saab's Group, business areas, and market areas.
• Conducting internal and external benchmarking to ensure best practices and informed decision-making.
• Preparing clear and insightful reports and presentations for management and other stakeholders.
• Supporting the monthly closing process, as well as contributing to forecasting and business planning activities.

We are looking for someone with strong analytical and communication as well as the ability to translate financial insights into clear, actionable recommendations. You combine a solid understanding of accounting principles with a proactive, collaborative approach. You feel comfortable taking initiative, guiding projects, and engaging with stakeholders at different levels of the organization.

To succeed in this role, you should have:

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in financial analysis, financial or business controlling or a similar analytical role.
• relevant academic degree in economics, finance, or a related field.
• Experience as a controller in a large corporation or at Saab is considered an advantage
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint). Experience with financial systems is an advantage.
• Fluency in both English and Swedish, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong business acumen and a strategic mindset, with the ability to communicate insights in a clear and collaborative way.

This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
