The Role

We're looking for an Analyst to join our Finance team. Reporting to the Senior Controller, you'll play a key role in building the analytical foundation that drives financial planning and decision-making across Legora.

This is a full-stack analytics role spanning the entire data lifecycle – from connecting data sources and developing reliable pipelines to building financial models and dashboards.

You'll turn financial data into clear actionable insights that guide strategic decisions, improve forecasting accuracy, and strengthen our understanding of unit economics.Your work will directly support scalable growth and smarter data-driven decisions across the company.

What You WIll Be Doing

• Develop financial models and dashboards that drive reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and unit economics tracking.
• Own the full data cycle – from ingestion and transformation to analysis and reporting.
• Develop and optimize data models in our warehouse to enable accurate and timely financial insights.
• Partner with the teams across Product, Finance, Sales, and Operations teams to ensure consistency and accuracy across financial data models.
• Conduct deep-dive analyses to identify trends, risks, and opportunities across the company.
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and clear documentation throughout the analytics stack.

Who You Are

• A few years of hands-on experience in financial analytics or data analytics.
• Solid understanding of finance concepts (e.g., P&L, revenue recognition, KPIs) and how they connect to business performance.
• Proficient in SQL and comfortable working with modern data stacks (e.g., dbt, Snowflake, Python, BI tools like Hex).
• Strong grasp of data modeling, ELT best practices, and financial/business metrics.
• Curious, detail-oriented, and confident in communicating insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• A proactive problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
