About the role

We are looking for an Marketing Automation Specialist to join our central marketing team. This role will drive marketing‑automation standards globally while initially focusing on hands‑on execution for the Swedish market. You will own the planning and execution of email marketing campaigns and automations, working closely with Sales and Marketing to support upsell and cross‑sell opportunities.

What will you do?

  • Plan, build, and execute email campaigns and automation programs in Salesforce Account Engagement (Pardot).
  • Create and adapt campaign content in Swedish, including writing copy and building emails using templates.
  • Collaborate with Sales teams to align campaigns with upsell and cross‑sell objectives.
  • Track, analyze, and report on campaign performance, pipeline impact, and engagement metrics.
  • Contribute to setting global automation standards and share best practices across markets.
  • Coordinate with local marketing managers to ensure consistent execution and results.
  • Explore and apply AI tools to create, test, and optimize campaign content and workflows.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Proven experience in marketing automation and email marketing, preferably with Salesforce Account Engagement (Pardot).
  • Proficient in HTML, with the ability to edit and enhance the visual design of email templates.
  • Comfort running A/B tests and interpreting results; familiarity with simple attribution concepts.
  • Strong content‑creation and copywriting skills in Swedish (fluent written and spoken).
  • Solid English skills (written and spoken).
  • Experience planning and executing B2B campaigns in close collaboration with Sales.
  • A self‑starter who takes ownership and works independently.
  • Business‑oriented mindset with a focus on measurable results.
  • Strong interest in AI, with experience using AI tools effectively for content creation and productivity.
Nice to have:
  • Engagement Studio branching nurtures; Dynamic Content; Scoring & Grading (incl. Scoring Categories); knowing when to use Automation Rules vs. Segmentation Rules.
  • Familiarity with Page Actions, Custom Redirects, and Completion Actions.
  • Salesforce campaign reporting & dashboards; Campaign Member Status taxonomy; parent/child campaign structures.
  • GDPR/PECR basics including double opt‑in, subscription list and preference center management.
  • Pre‑send QA using tools like Litmus/Email on Acid; awareness of SPF/DKIM/DMARC and deliverability best practices.
  • Basic HTML/CSS for email templates; accessibility‑aware builds (mobile‑first, WCAG basics).
  • Basic CMS/WordPress skills to embed AE forms; GA4 event validation.
  • Strong UTM taxonomy, naming conventions, and asset‑foldering hygiene.
